Monty Hale, Kurlumarniny: We Come from the Desert

In 2012, the life story of Monty Hale, who was a child at the time the strike began, was published by Aboriginal Studies Press, which has been committed to publishing Aboriginal autobiographies and family histories. In this book Hale told what has become the accepted story of the origins of the strike, namely the meeting at Skull Springs.
